Detectives are trying to trace potential key witnesses after arresting a suspect over a stabbing. An investigation is ongoing after a man is believed to have been attacked in a communal area between blocks of flats on Lover’s Lane, Newark. The victim, who is aged in his 30s, arrived at Newark Police Station shortly after 10pm on Thursday (December 7) saying he had been stabbed. Officers provided first aid before paramedics arrived.
