Courtroom drama “Anatomy of a Fall” by French director Justine Triet has won the prize for best European film of the year, the European Film Academy said at a ceremony held in Berlin on Saturday. The film tells the story of a successful writer, played by Sandra Hüller, who is trying to prove her innocence after being accused of killing her husband. “Anatomy of a Fall” earlier won the Best Screenplay award and also a prize for best editing.
