The children of imprisoned Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on her behalf in a ceremony on Sunday at Oslo City Hall. Her 17-year-old twins, Kiana and Ali Rahmani, read their mother’s speech, which she wrote in Iran’s notorious Evin prison, to the crowd at Oslo’s City Hall. According to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Mohammadi was arrested 13 times and sentenced five times to a total of 31 years in prison and 154 lashes.
