Exotic birds have been spotted in West Berkshire. Reports of exotic bird sightings have been made in Calcot and other areas in and around Reading. Flocks of green ring-necked parakeets, a species native to Asia and Africa, have been spotted feeding in people’s gardens. “Over the last few months, we’ve had parakeets coming into our garden and feeding as well,” said Calcot resident, Colin Mcmurray.
