Linn Svahn pipped fellow Swede Frida Karlsson for the stage win while American jessica Diggins retained the overall Tour de Ski lead into Sunday’s finale in Italy. Svahn beat Karlsson on the home stretch of the 15 kilometres classic style mass start race in snowy Val di Fiemme, with Katharina Hennig of Germany completing Saturday’s podium in third. Diggins trailed by 5.7 seconds in eighth place and is one stage away from her second Tour de Ski title, the first coming in 2021.
