A woman who has celebrated 40 years of being free from lymphoma is hoping her success story will boost those currently fighting the disease. Linda Shailes, from Wisbech, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease in January 1984 – just as Torvil and Dean were wowing at the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo with their iconic Bolero routine.
