A town’s new skatepark is beginning to take shape as work gets underway on site. Groundwork is being laid at Southwell’s skatepark, on Park Lane, where a new specially-designed park is being built. The previous skatepark was made up of ageing equipment, and following extensive consultation, grant applications and planning, a Betongpark design, complete with modern ramps and Bramley apple motifs, will take its place.
