The European natural gas price dipped below the €30 mark per megawatt-hour for the first time in five months on Monday. The benchmark TTF price for delivery in one month’s time fell briefly to €29.29, down some 8%. Analysts pointed to comparatively high supply conditions resulting from imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) into Europe stimulated by the cut-off of Russian gas in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
