A Lugbe Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja has sentenced a barber, Godwin Joseph to 24 months imprisonment, for housebreaking and stealing. Joseph, 24, of Area 1 garage Garki Abuja pleaded guilty to criminal trespass, housebreaking, and theft, but begged for leniency. However, the Judge, Mr Aliyu Kagarko, gave the convict an option to pay a fine of N60,000 and warned him to desist from committing crimes in the future.
