The Viennese auction house im Kinsky is auctioning a painting by Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) that was thought to be lost. The “Portrait of Miss Lieser” dates from 1917 and is from the late work of the world-famous artist of the Art Nouveau period, the auction house announced on Thursday.
