Brazil’s federal police are investigating a criminal organisation within the Brazilian secret service that is alleged to have illegally monitored authorities and individuals. The federal police announced on Thursday that 21 search warrants and seizures had been carried out in several cities. Seven federal police officers were immediately suspended.
