SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. \- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue battled a residential structure fire on Desert Hills Way in Sun City Center on Tuesday evening. Officials say at 5:54 P.M., the Emergency Dispatch Center received multiple 911 calls from citizens reporting fire through the roof of a nearby residence. Arriving crews could see a column of smoke from a distance and deemed the event a working fire, and the first arriving engine confirmed heavy flames through the residence’s roof.
