The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has voiced sharp criticism on a decision by Italian organizers to build a new sliding track for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. The IOC said that Italian organizers must have a plan B ready for the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton events should the new track not be ready by March 2025.
