Lava from the volcanic eruption engulfing parts of south-western Iceland has destroyed dozens of buildings in the small fishing town of Grindavík, a insurance company boss said on Sunday. Hulda Ragnheiður Árnadóttir, director of the Natural Catastrophe Insurance of Iceland, told broadcaster RÚV that more than 400 damage claims had come in so far from the hard-hit town.
