French exports of cosmetic products rose by 10.8% on the year last year to €21.3 billion ($22.9 billion), with most exports going to France’s European neighbours, the FEBEA cosmetic industry association reported in Paris on Thursday. Germany led Spain and Italy as the largest importers. Exports to the European Union as a whole were up 20.8% to €8.6 billion. Outside Europe, the United States was the largest importer, followed by China, where exports declined. Exports to the Middle East also fell.
