Former Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan has made a big announcement that won’t be welcome news for the Democratic Party after he told voters he is running for the U.S. Senate. Hogan, 67, served as governor of the Old Line State from 2015 to 2023, and is the son of Lawrence Hogan, one of the state’s congressmen who served from 1969 to 1975.
