Three fire engines attended a kitchen fire believed to have started after a pan of cooking oil caught alight. Firefighters attended a property on Horselees Road in Faversham just after 7.30pm on Saturday and extinguished the flames using hose reel jets. No injuries were reported and Kent Fire and Rescue Service reminded residents of the importance of fire safety in the kitchen.
