It was a weeknight, but I decided to go a little fancy. By which I mean that my wife had defrosted some shrimp. Ordinarily, I prefer fresh to frozen or canned. I have no meat in my freezer, except shrimp and the occasional scallop, and they aren’t meat. Also, shrimp and scallops happen to freeze particularly well. That is fortunate for us in the Midwest, because we generally don’t get fresh shrimp (or occasional scallops) here.
