Rescue teams are searching for six missing crew members of a cargo vessel that sank early on Thursday in the Marmara Sea, north-west of Istanbul, said Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. The coastguard has dispatched rescue boats and a plane to locate the crew of the ship which is thought to have sunk due to bad weather, Yerlikaya wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
