A 30-year-old man standing on the grass median of the Garden State Parkway was struck and killed by a car Tuesday morning in Monmouth County, authorities said. The car was headed north when the driver lost control, veered off the road to the left and struck Kody Lupich. Lupich, of Point Pleasant, was pronounced dead at the scene, near milepost 109.1 in Tinton Falls.
