TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a traffic crash involving a bicyclist on S. Dale Mabry Hwy between Ballast Point Blvd and Pearl Ave. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, police say. Southbound lanes of Dale Mabry Hwy between Ballast Point Blvd and Pearl Ave are currently closed and are expected to remain closed for an extended time.
