A hat-trick from Derren Singleton was not enough to get even a point for Wisbech Town Acorns on Saturday as they were beaten 6-4 at home to Upwell Town. Singleton scored three to make it 16 for the season and Filip Szkudlarek was also on target for Acorns, but Sam Cubberley’s treble to take him to 19, two for Dan Hempson to take him to 17 and a goal for Kevin Smith meant that Upwell triumphed 6-4 at Gorefield Playing Field.
