Thousands of people have taken to the streets in Mexico’s capital and other places in the country under the slogan “for our democracy” on Sunday. Almost three and a half months before the presidential and parliamentary elections, demonstrators filled the Mexico City’s central square. Many of them were dressed in pink, the colour of the electoral authority INE. INE’s former head Lorenzo Córdova gave a speech in front of the presidential palace.
