Police and paramedics were called to a Newark road earlier today, due to concerns over a person’s safety. Multiple Nottinghamshire Police cars and East Midlands Ambulance Service vehicles were at the scene on Carlton Road this morning (February 19). A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Carlton Road, Newark, shortly before 10.30am today (February 19) after concerns were raised for a woman’s safety. “A patient was treated by paramedics. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and there is no threat to the community.”
