German trade union Verdi wants to end the wage dispute with Lufthansa ground staff this week if possible, as workers walked off the job in a renewed strike on Tuesday. “We have now proved twice that we can strike,” Verdi negotiator Marvin Reschinsky told dpa on Tuesday.
