A MAN has been locked up on charges including kidnap, strangulation and witness intimidation. Joseph Willett-Barney appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 31. The 25-year-old, whose address was given as the Cherry Bird Country Park, Lower Farm Court, Newbury, faces seven charges in total. Specifically, he faces two charges of intentional strangulation. Next, Mr Willett-Barney is accused of kidnap and assault causing actual bodily harm. Her faces further charges of witness intimidation, possessing an imitation firearm and engaging in coercive or controlling behaviour….
