A MAN accused of non fatal, intentional strangulation has elected crown court trial. Jason Dennis appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court for a preliminary hearing on Thursday, September 26. There, the 42-year-old, of Rutherford Walk, Tilehurst, was charged with intentionally strangling Harvey Morland. He was further accused of assaulting a police officer with intent to resist arrest. Both offences were said to have happened in Tilehurst on Monday, January 8.
