A Flamenco show starring a dancer from Seville is to bring a taste of Spain to town. Tomorrow (February 2), talented dancer Rebeca Ortega will perform authentic Flamenco at Southwell Minster School’s recital hall. Her performance is said to be “shaped by the luminosity of the alegrías, the depth of the taranto, the rhythms of the tangos and bulerías and the jondura of the soleá and the farruca”. She will be accompanied by guitarist Ramón Ruiz, from Granada and London, and singer Natalia Marin, also from Seville.
