Manchester United are reported to be paying attention to Getafe, and not necessarily for Mason Greenwood. Spanish side Getafe took a chance on Mason Greenwood at the end of last summer, and the loan deal has worked out very well for them so far. The previous summer they took a similar gamble, paying £8 million for Real Madrid youth prospect Borja Mayoral. Mayoral has struck up a partnership with Greenwood, with AS describing the pair this week as Getafe’s ‘golden duo’. It has apparently caught Manchester United’s eye.
