The Seibu Lions staged a ninth-inning rally for a 4-3 walk-off win Saturday over the Yomiuri Giants on back-to-back two-out RBI singles by Takuya Hiruma and Hiyu Motoyama. Motoyama brought the Lions within a run in the eighth with a pinch-hit solo homer, stayed in the game and then singled home the winning run at Belluna Dome. Seibu’s Ichiro Tamura (1-0) won in relief.
