Aston Villa must rue selling an attacker who is now subjected to interest from clubs in the Premier League. The Villans have a rich history of developing talent from their academy, with Jack Grealish the most notable example. Grealish, having been polished by Villa coaches, has gone on to reach lofty heights at Manchester City following his £100m move in 2021. Given his sale, at the time, broke the British transfer record, fans were acceptant of the club’s decision to allow him to depart.
