The professional services company Aon announced on Friday the acquisition of UK-based insurance broker Griffiths & Armour, which specializes in professional indemnity insurance and general insurance broking. Upon completion of the transaction, Griffiths & Armour is to become wholly-owned by Aon UK and is to go to market as “Griffiths & Armour, an Aon company.” The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
