After launching it in early March this year in black and white colors, the brand later announced an India-exclusive blue edition, followed by a special edition with a multicolored back. This time, Nothing has launched an improved version of the Phone (2a). Called Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, it contains a variety of updates in all areas. The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus retains the same compact design with a Glyph interface, a horizontal tablet-shaped camera module, and a cable running along the bottom half of the transparent back panel. The most noticeable change is the metallic finish of the device, which makes it stand out from the standard version. The cable also has a shiny metallic finish, and on the black color variant, it gives a two-tone look.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has the same 6.7-inch OLED screen on the front with thin bezels and a center camera notch. It has FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus dual camera consists of the same 50-megapixel primary sensor and 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front-facing selfie camera has been upgraded from a 32-megapixel sensor on the standard model to a 50-megapixel sensor on the latest offering. Nothing has also made changes to the hardware of the Phone (2a) Plus. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro processor compared to the 7200 Pro on the standard model. The former has a clock speed of 3 GHz, which is 10 percent faster, as well as a 30 percent faster GPU compared to the 2.8 GHz on the latter. The device has 12 GB of RAM along with 8 GB of virtual RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. There is also an advanced liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 50W charging support. In terms of software, it comes with Nothing OS based on Android 14.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus starts at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999. The latter is priced at $399/£399 in the US and European markets. The device is available in metallic gray and black colors.
