Police are seeking information to help locate the whereabouts of two missing teenage girls. Karmel Whiting, 14, and Melanie Barrett, 15, were last seen at around 11.15am in the Sutton Road area, near Maidstone yesterday (July 30). Karmel has long, black, straight hair, and blue eyes. Melanie has long, dark, wavy hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black shorts, an orange bikini, a pink halter-neck top, white Nike trainers, and was carrying a chequered bag.
