Léon Marchand returned into the Olympic pool just over 12 hours after his latest heroics and qualified for the 200 metres medley on Thursday. Marchand has become a national icon and a Games poster boy after winning the 400m medley with the biggest event margin, and then becoming the first Olympian to medal in breaststroke and buttterfly at one Games.
