Republicans’ tolerance for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) antics seem to be reaching a boiling point, and Politico’s Playbook reports that she could face serious consequences if she keeps trying to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). Greene’s proposed motion to vacate the chair is doomed to fail now that Democratic leaders in the House have said that they will oppose it, but the Georgia congresswoman has nonetheless scheduled a 9 a.m. press conference where she’s expected to demand a vote on her motion to vacate Johnson.
