A 45-year-old man was shot and killed in Trenton on Wednesday, authorities said. Trenton police were called to the 400 block of Ardmore Avenue just before 8 p.m. and found a wounded man lying on a porch, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday. Shawn Moore, of Trenton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The fatal shooting is the third of the year in Trenton, the prosecutor’s office said. There were 27 in 2023.
