Typhoon Kong-rey’s passing over Taiwan caused at least two deaths and injured over 500 people, the Central Emergency Operation Centre (CEOC) said on Friday. The storm made landfall and left Taiwan on Thursday, bringing strong winds and heavy rains to the island. On Friday, the typhoon alert was lifted, however one more death was reported.
