Anyone for a round of golf? I only ask because with the below par state of our roads we have more than enough holes to keep us busy almost indefinitely! While I applaud efforts by Nottinghamshire County Council in recent months to carry out large scale road repairs — such as the Great North Road, finally — these efforts are merely the tip of an iceberg of work that is needed to restore our county’s crumbling infrastructure.
