Israeli armed forces have attacked a military research facility near the Syrian capital Damascus with four missiles, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Sunday. There were fires at the site of the attack. The Syrian air defence system also fired at incoming missiles, it added. The extent of the material damage initially remained unclear.
