A town has celebrated 40 years of twinning friendship with a special visit from their German counterparts. In September, Bingham Town Council hosted a civic reception to welcome Jens Korn, the Burgermeister from Bingham’s twin town of Wallenfels in Germany. Members of the Twinning Association and guests attended the reception, and entertainment was provided by the talented Thomas Markwick of Bingham.
