A 29-year-old cleaner, Rakiya Garba, was on Thursday arraigned before a Kaduna Chief Magistrate’s Court for stealing N780,000 belonging to her employer, Hajiya Aisha Sadiq. The defendant, who resides in Malali, Kaduna, was charged with breach of trust and stealing. She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Jan. 27 at Ungwan Sarki in Kaduna State.
