Two days after the hostage drama in the Dutch city of Ede, the four victims released a statement on Monday, as the motive of the alleged perpetrator remained unclear. He was “an unknown man,” the employees of the pub concerned wrote about the now detained hostage-taker. The investigation must now “bring the truth to light,” they demanded.
