Anheuser-Busch workers will vote starting this weekend on a proposed five-year contract endorsed Wednesday night by their union’s leadership, heading off a possible strike. Voting by approximately 5,000 employees at the company’s 12 U.S. breweries, all members of the Teamsters union, will begin Sunday and continue through Tuesday, the union announced Thursday.
