Drivers are being advised to not travel through Welney as water levels rise. Large parts of the area are under water again as water levels rose quickly yesterday, with the river level currently at 2.73m. The depth of water on the A1101 Welney Wash Road at its deepest side is 53cm, half a metre deep, and at the centre line it is 38cm.
