By Levi Winchester Free childcare rules in England are being expanded to include the parents of younger children from today. Working parents of two-year-olds are now entitled to 15 hours of free childcare. However, the application deadline for the summer term has now passed – meaning if you missed this, you’ll have to apply by August 31 for the autumn term. To be eligible for the new hours, parents must earn a minimum of the equivalent of 16 hours a week at minimum wage, but less than £100,000 a year.
