Little Hallingbury Flower Club celebrated its 40th anniversary in style and underlined its roots in the community by making a charity donation. Club chair Sue Clarke presented a cheque for £500 to Jo Hutton, community relationship fundraiser for St Clare Hospice, which is based at Hastingwood, near Harlow. Current club members were joined by former members, some of whom have moved away but travelled some distance to attend, in enjoying a glass of Prosecco and slice of home-made carrot and walnut cake.
