A Rahway woman died Sunday morning when her vehicle crashed into two guardrails on the Garden State Parkway in Union County, New Jersey State Police said. Martha Merra, 86, was driving north in a stretch of the highway in Clark when her vehicle ran off the highway to the right and struck the guard rail at at mile marker 137, then crossed the lanes and hit the left guard rail, police said.
