The cookery writer told how she met her future husband after taking a job coming up with recipes for the paper’s new colour magazine in 1969. The magazine’s deputy editor was Michael Wynn-Jones. They married two years later and have now been together for 52 years. Delia recalled: “I remember my cookery column and I think it was for kipper pate, beef braised in beer and five-minute cheesecake.
