At least five people have been killed in a suspected gas explosion in the western Turkish coastal city of Izmir. At least 57 people were injured, according to authorities. According to initial findings, the explosion was caused by leaking gas in a restaurant, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote in a post on X.
